I’ll go first! One small thing that brings me back to myself: sitting on the back steps with a my favorite “World’s Best Mom” mug filled with coffee, no phone, no noise—just listening to the birds and the wind in the trees for five minutes. It’s a tiny thing, but it reminds me who I am every time.

That is exactly what I was going to say! Early mornings with bird song and chatter is very soothing to me.

The Merlin app has been a total game changer for me. I’m legally blind and so it’s hard for me to see the birds, but with Merlin I love that I can know exactly who’s joining me. (Though sometimes it’s also nice just to sit and not fiddle with technology at all!)

I probably should look in to that....for when my curiosity needs satisfying. 😊

The Merlin app is amazing. During this time of year I love hearing migrating visitors.

These are the best! Those moments of possibility, curiosity when you make a small connection with a stranger. They make me so happy, so hopeful.

This is a dying art! But a practice that I love. Reading the newspaper keeps you connected with your community, whether it’s local or global.

🧘‍♀️ my yoga practice, even if it's 15-minutes. Deep breathing with a slow mindful flow is restorative.

This is such a wonderful exercise to share! I stand with my sliding door open looking out into the morning light & do a whole body lymph massage listening to the birds, followed by shaking with some music or not & some squats & breathwork.
