Day 8: Breathe In, Breathe Out—Feel the Wild
A mindful walk to reconnect with yourself
Hey there Heroine,
This week, let’s shift our focus inward—toward self-love in the wild.
We often think of self-care as bubble baths and cozy blankets (and hey, those are great), but nature offers its own kind of restoration. Today, I’m inviting you to slow down and truly experience the outdoors.
Your prompt for Day 8:
Take a mindful walk, focusing on your breath and how your body feels.
No rushing. No destination. Just you and the present moment. Feel the rhythm of your steps, the air on your skin, the movement of your breath. Let yourself settle into the moment, even if just for five minutes.
As you walk, ask yourself: What does my body need more of? More rest? More movement? More stillness?
Share your experience in the comments or on Substack Notes, and tag it with #LoveTheWild. Did slowing down shift your perspective? How did it feel to truly tune in? I’d love to hear.
Here’s to walking with intention,
Jill
