It’s funny—when I started this challenge, I wasn’t expecting any big, dramatic transformations. I figured I’d take a few more walks, pay a little more attention, maybe journal a bit.

But somewhere along the way, something shifted.

I’ve started noticing the way the wind moves through bare branches, how the morning light changes week to week. I’ve caught myself pausing—actually pausing—to listen, to breathe, to just be outside instead of rushing through it.

And maybe that’s the real win. Not some grand revelation, but the slow, steady way the wild keeps working on me, making me a little softer, a little more present, a little more awake to the world around me.

And one of the best parts? Reading everyone else’s reflections along the way. It’s been such a joy to see how different women experience the outdoors, how we each find meaning in the small, ordinary, beautiful moments. It makes me feel connected—not just to nature, but to this incredible community.

I’m carrying that forward.
