Day 17: A Simple Act of Gratitude
Write a thank-you note—on paper or in your heart
Hey there Heroine,
Gratitude has a way of deepening our connections—not just with people, but with the world around us.
Your prompt for Day 17:
Write a thank-you note to someone who has supported you. Bonus: Deliver it outside!
Maybe it’s a friend who always says yes to a spontaneous hike, a mentor who encouraged you to follow your own path, or someone who simply showed up for you when you needed it most. It could even be a note to nature itself—thanking the wild for being a place of solace, adventure, or belonging.
You can write it in a journal, send it as a text, or put pen to paper and deliver it in person. What matters is taking a moment to reflect on the people (or places) who have shaped you.
Leave a comment or share your experience on Substack Notes, and tag it with #LoveTheWild. Did this small act of gratitude shift something in you? I’d love to hear.
With appreciation for the journey,
Jill
